Image Bank - Multiple Imagery

Internet Images

The photo above has been made from multiple images of the same tree, but at different angles and view points. From this multiple imagery, we can see 9 different parts of there tree, so it is as though we can see the entire tree, but without all of the pieces fitting together. I like this work because it allows viewers to see most of one object, without actually seeing it entirely.

This is a multiple image of a plant. I like this one in particular because all nine photos are close-up, yet each is showing a different part of the plant. When all of these images are put together, we are able to see so much more detail of the plant and flowers than we would have been able to if the photographer had just taken a single, full image of the plant.

I like this multiple image because it reminds me of a jigsaw puzzle. The middle piece is showing the front surface of the pocket watch, and we can see the full face of the owl. Then above and below this image, we are able to see small parts of the owls face. Both the images next to the centre image are showing the pattern on the back of the watch, and finally, each corner image is showing parts of the actual clock. It's as though each of these pieces fit together but don't actually show the watch entirely.

In this multiple imagery, we can see 15 different but similar photos. These photos are different because they each individually show a different part of the water tank. However, they are similar because they each have the same main subject. I like this multiple image because we are able to see all the way round the water tank, as if we are walking around it.

This multiple image is a lot different because it has been taken of a person, rather than an object. In each of these photos we can see different parts of the girls face, for instance: her eyes, mouth, chin and cheeks, but we can also see different parts of her hair and hat. This photo is also in black-and-white.

I like this multiple image, especially because it is in black and white. The main subject of each of the nine photos is a black bag. I like that we are able to see tiny details about the bag such as the clasp, handles, material etc. I also like that the photographer has taken these images from different angles, which makes the viewers feel as if they are actually looking at the bag themselves.
