Adjectives to describe and/or relate to the word "Form" - Two Dimensional (2D), Three Dimensional (3D), Shadow, Object, Human.
The four images below are the ones that I have chosen to represent the element of form. To be able to show the form of an object, building or person through a photograph, you can include it's/their shadow to signify that it is/they are three dimensional, within a two dimensional image. The reason i have chosen these four photos is because they show a variety of different forms, such as, a human, stair rail, a fork and a bicycle. In these photographs, we are able to see the shadows of these things and can confer that they are 3D. In the first photo, we are able to see the little girl's shadow, but not her entire body. So, in her shadow we are able to see her hair and upper body, but we can't actually see that part of her realistically. In the second photo, which is of the stairs and the rail. We are able to see the shadow of the rail among the steps of the staircase, which has made its shadow into a different shape to what it actually is. So, in reality the rail is straight, but its shadow (because of the steps) makes it look jagged and zig-zagged. The third and last images show the shadows of a fork and a bicycle, which are every-day objects. The photo has been made more interesting because we are able to see the shadows that these objects make, showing that they're 3D.
My own definition of Form - a signification of the three dimensional structure of a human, object or building by showing it's realistic shadow or outline.
