Internet Images
In this image we are able to see a woman walking away from darkness into the light, because of this, we are able to see her shadow. This displays form because it makes the 2D image of her, 3D as it shows that she is also, actually 3D as well, her shadow creates the 3D perception. The photo is also in black and white, so the shadow is more defined as a silhouette.
This photograph also displays form because its showing that although the parasols are 2D in the image, they are in fact 3D realistically, due to their shadow being created by the sun, which is presented in the photograph. The woman in the image is also a 3D object, but her shadow is mixed with one of the parasols shadows, so her shadow isn't actually shown within the image.
This photo is also showing form. We are able to see that the staircase is three-dimensional
because of it's shadow which has been created by the sun on the wall beside it. The staircase no longer looks 2D because of its shadow, which displays the form of the object.
This image is a littler different, as it is a portrait of a woman. However, one side of her face is well-lit, whereas the other is dark. This is because her facial features are creating shadows from the light that is reflecting, which is displaying the form of her face. This shows us that she isn't just a two dimensional picture, but she is realistically 3D.
Just like the other photos that I have chosen, this image is showing the shadow of a little boy as well as a lamppost (although we can't see the actual lamppost). However, the shadow of the little boy makes him look taller than he actually is. This displays form within the image, because the boy is no longer a 2D shape in the photo, but a 3D object.
Finally, this image is showing a queue of birds, and their shadows. The birds are actually similar sizes, but their shadows show some much taller than others. This displays form because the shadows show that the pigeons are 3D, not 2D like the picture suggests. The photo is also black and white, which defines the silhouette of the shadows.
